why I like the Brain-Twitter Interface
As a neuroscience concentrator, I love hearing about brain science in the popular media. This story is no exception. A group of researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have created the first (from a quick Google search) Brain-Twitter Interface. Through the use of EEG to record the brain’s wave fluctuations in patients when focusing on a flashing letter, patients with “locked-in” syndrome can now literally twitter their thoughts. This is sick. (For more on how awesome Twitter is )

Just wait and see, Twitter is eying big market out there in hospitals.

I agree. From communicating with radiologists, I am certain their brevity in messages will be directed by twitterMed =)
